Αξίζει να ζήσει ο ελέφαντας τσίρκου?

6-6-12 Ο αφρικανικός ελέφαντας Mila  που προκάλεσε το θάνατο της Helen Schofield, στο ζωολογικό κήπο Franklin της Νέας Ζηλανδίας (Franklin Zoo, 56km south of Auckland)  ενδέχεται να θανατωθεί. Η Mila εργάστηκε 30 χρόνια σε τσίρκο και παρουσίαζε κρίσεις πανικού.
Για να ζήσει, πρέπει να μεταφερθεί στο καταφύγιο San Andreas της Καλιφόρνιας. Για τη μεταφορά της χρειάζεται 1.5 εκατομμύριο δολάρια. Το πλήρωμα του χρόνου έφτασε και δυστυχώς συγκεντρώθηκαν μόνο τα 20.000 δολάρια.
The clock is ticking for Mila - the African elephant who crushed her keeper Helen Schofield to death at Franklin Zoo in April.
Franklin Zoo has said they need to raise almost $1.5 million in order to prepare Mila to travel to a sanctuary, or they may have no choice but to put her down. Around $20,000 has been raised so far. Before her death Helen was in discussions with a sanctuary in San Andreas, California to take Mila.
