If there are problems in your present, your past lives may be to blame, Alice McCall says.
The Santa Rosa Beach woman holds a degree in psychology and certification in hypnotherapy. She uses both to help patients heal wounds, which McCall says came from their past lives.
McCall said she discovered her own past lives in 2000 and used her knowledge when diagnosed with breast cancer. Through regression therapy, McCall says she learned of her past lives, dealt with unresolved issues and was healed of her cancer.
Since then she has gone on to help others discover their own past lives and facilitate healing of physical and mental maladies.
“I don’t go looking for them, they just come up during hypnotherapy,” she said.
As for her own lives, McCall knows of more than 15, possibly more than 20. She says she once was a high priestess and leader of a mystic school in Egypt during the time of the pyramids.
“We intuitively know that mind, body and emotion work in tandem. It’s all connected. When we only look at and treat symptoms, the root of the problem doesn’t go away. We have to treat all three,” she said. “Negative thoughts and energy cause our body to malfunction. We need to transform the energy. With guided therapy, we shift the energy and healing occurs.”
She says she has worked with multiple sclerosis patients and those diagnosed with various types of cancer who have experience healing.
“When traditional methods don’t work, it could be that we are holding on to negative memories,” she said. “The proof is in the healing.”
McCall also adheres to the use of holistic practices and promotes healthy foods.

She will address attendees of the eighth annual Metaphysical Festival in Navarre today at 1 p.m., at the Day’s Inn. This will be her sixth time to speak at the festival. Her topic will be “Past Lives Can Influence Current Wellness.” Fifty vendors, psychics and healers from all over the country will participate.
