ΕΞΩΤΙΚΑ ΖΩΑ κάηκαν ζωντανά όταν ξέσπασε πυρκαγιά σε τσίρκο της Αγίας Πετρούπολης. Πρόκειται για το τσίρκο "Shapito", που χρησιμοποιούσε πιθήκους, φίδια και άλλα σπάνια ζώα για τις παραστάσεις του. Η πυρκαγιά προκλήθηκε από θερμάστρες που τοποθέτησαν για να διατηρήσουν ζωντανά τα εξωτικά ζώα.

Exotic animals die in circus fire
A number of exotic animals died in a fire at a St. Petersburg circus on Monday.
Fire broke out in a building adjacent to “Shapito” circus, where the animals were kept. St. Petersburg emergency situations’ chief Leonid Belyaev told RIA Novosti news agency that the exhibition showcased 15 exotic species, including monkeys and snakes, all of which died in flames.
”There were no humans around when the fire broke out, so there were no injuries to people,” he added.
Belyaev said firefighters managed to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading into the circus dome and arena.
According to one theory, the fire may have started because additional heaters were placed in the building in order to make it warmer for the animals, Fontanka.ru news website reported.
